My first real spark came during a summer photography class with my cousins. I wasn’t very skilled, but I was fascinated by the way a camera could capture the world. My instructor even gave me the nickname "Unusual Perspective Girl" because of the unique way I saw and photographed things.

In high school, I took every photography class I could. Even then, I viewed it as a passion rather than a career, so I pursued nursing because I genuinely love working with people and caring for others.

After a year in the hospital, I felt drawn back to photography. I bought my first professional camera during a Black Friday sale and started photographing friends. Soon, those friends recommended me to their friends, and I began sharing my work online. At first, putting my photos out into the world was terrifying. But within a few months, someone reached out and asked me to assist with a wedding—even though I had little experience. That day, I discovered a love for wedding photography that has only grown stronger with time.

Overcoming fear and insecurity has been part of my journey, but through prayer and reflection, I came to realize photography is more than a hobby—it's a calling. It allows me to tell love stories with intention, celebrate the beauty found in fleeting moments, and reflect God's love through the work I do. Every wedding reminds me that stepping into what you love, even with uncertainty, is always worth it.
