I wandered through other paths for years, even exploring it briefly in high school, before setting off on a different journey. Somewhere along the way, it caught me again. In my first year in another career, I knew this was where I was meant to be.

My first real spark came during a summer photography class with my cousins. I wasn’t very skilled, but I was fascinated by the way a camera could capture the world and eventually earned the nickname “unusual perspective girl” from my instructor. In high school, I took every photography class I could, still seeing it as a passion rather than a career, and eventually pursued nursing for its steadiness and security.
After a year in the hospital, I felt drawn back to photography. I bought my first professional camera on a Black Friday sale and began capturing portraits of people I didn’t know. At first, it was terrifying to put my work out into the world. But within months, I received a message asking me to second-shoot a wedding — despite my lack of experience. That day, I discovered a love for weddings that has only grown stronger over time.
Overcoming fear and insecurity has been a journey, but through prayer and reflection, I realized this was more than a hobby. It’s a calling. Photography allows me to tell love stories with intention, celebrate the beauty in fleeting moments, and reflect God’s love in the work I do. Every wedding is a reminder that pursuing what you love, even with uncertainty, is worth it.

I do. Weddings are a dream to photograph and each one so uniquely beautiful, filled with emotion and romance. I am a very lucky lady that my job is to observe and capture the greatness of every moment of it.
