01. how far do you book out?
Most couples book 8–18 months in advance, especially for peak season dates. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to give each couple my full attention, so once your date is set, I recommend reaching out sooner rather than later. If your wedding is coming up quickly, still inquire because I may have availability.
02. What does hiring a documentary style photographer look like?
I treat your day like a story unfolding in real time. I’ll gently guide you when needed (especially during portraits), but much of the day is captured as it naturally happens. The quiet glances, the deep breaths, the laughter you didn’t realize anyone noticed are the moments that get captured along with the grand ones you always dream about. My role is to observe, anticipate, and preserve your day honestly and artfully.
03. What is your favorite part of a wedding day?
My favorite moments are the quiet exchanges during the ceremony: the way they look at each other, the soft smiles, the laughter that fills the air. In those moments, the world disappears, leaving only the depth of their love. Nothing posed could ever capture that honesty.
04. How do you handle family photos?
Family portraits are important, and I approach them with intention and efficiency. Before the wedding, I’ll help you create a concise list so nothing meaningful is missed. On the day of, I gently direct and keep things moving so you can return to celebrating without feeling pulled away for long.
05. How many images will we receive?
Although each collection includes a promised minimum number of images, I deliver every meaningful and beautifully edited photograph from your day, which often means you receive more than anticipated. Your gallery is curated with great care, ensuring the moments that matter most are preserved while keeping the collection intentional and refined.
